Blue Shoot

I was fortunate enough to be invited to shoot behind the scenes on a studio shoot exploring modern melancholy and ennui. Using Blue as a signifier of love and desire.

Shooting in black and white on a Blue themed shoot may seem counter-intuitive, but as to not spoil the final hero shots, shooting devoid of colour acted as teaser for the final shots, which reveal the Blue vibe.

Collaborating with other creatives on an experimental shoot like this is a real privilege, I hope that these images show the hard work and talent that went into creating such unique set pieces and aesthetics.

When I shoot behind the scenes on a shoot, it is my personal priority to showcase everyone’s talent - to ensure that they get their deserved credit, witnessing their contributions to the shoot.

Although I wasn’t tasked with producing the final images, I enjoy the challenge of capturing alternative angles, aesthetics and compositions from the spectacle before me, offering a secondary perspective.
